![]() It's hard to have game play when you are constantly in your cell, although you are given a handheld entertainments system from your happy friend and he even spends the last of his money to buy you games for it, games like snake if anyone remembers snake on the old Nokia phones, well like snake but much much harder practically impossible so not even a little joy from the retro fun that could have been had there. Potato Thriller is an Adventure, Horror-Survival, Exploration. ![]() Whilst out of curiosity I did play Presentable Liberty free download all the way through it wasn't my thing there is no game play as such and the story while intriguing did not give me the amazing "ah wow I didn't see that coming" ending that I had been hoping for. Presentable Liberty is a 2D, Horror, Adventure, First-Person, Strategy. You look around the bare cell there is no means of escape, however the postal system in your prison seems excellent receiving letters so frequently people can pretty much hold conversations with you during the course of a day, your main contacts are your old buddy Salvadore, a man who is being paid to keep you happy with gifts and letters that are too jolly for anyone to enjoy and a woman who runs a pastry shop called Charlotte who has clearly heard there is one man left who is not dead or infected by the virus (they keep mentioning a virus that is killing everyone) and Charlotte clearly can't handle the bakery by herself so needs someone to come and help fill her cream buns. Confused? I will try to explain in a little more detail, you are trapped in a cell, the reason and your crime are never disclosed well not never but you will have to sit through the whole game to find out and then do it again for the alternate ending. Things get pretty sad toward the end, and it’s nice to see developers that still try to come up with original concepts.Presentable Liberty, how to describe this game I'm not sure you can even call it a game I mean there are games within the games which are more like games than the actual game that you play. Nice plot twists and quite a few sad momentsĪll things considered, Presentable Liberty is quite a serious game, even if it pretends to be funny. You can’t leave your cell or do anything but move around and play the video games, which makes the atmosphere that much more intriguing. Speaking of which, you can also receive other items as well, including posters, a bug and a few table legs. The clock on the wall keeps ticking away throughout the day and the letters start coming much more rarely after a while. Still, everything is much more fun when it’s the only thing you can do. Hence, one of them is a tougher version of Snake, while another is just Flappy Bird with a few changes. These games are actually quite engaging and difficult, although not very original. Play mini-games and admire your poster collectionĮvery now and again you receive a few items to keep you company, the most important of which is a portable game console with a handful of games. However, the main plot revolves around the world coming to an end because of a virus that wipes out the humankind. This is the officially licensed remake of Presentable Liberty, a short game that originally released in 2014. Some of them are old friends trying to keep you company, while others are just people trying to make new friends. Although you cannot see any of the characters that write to you, their personality becomes apparent from the letters, and the clues are pretty strong. ![]() ![]() Thus, everything is communicated through letters. You might think it gets boring and tedious after a while, but there are other things to distract you, plus an engaging story relayed in a unique way. In essence, you play the role of a prisoner stuck in a cell, and the whole game has you seeing the same four walls at all times. Presentable Liberty is not your typical video game, especially when it comes to gameplay mechanics. Witness the end of the world one day at a time Hence, prison is still the preferred method of punishment for criminals and dangerous people, because we have yet to think of something worse. Once that is taken away, it becomes a lot more obvious that we are not meant to be locked in a cell for months or even years on end. No one likes being a prisoner, regardless of how little actual living they do when they have all the freedom in the world.
